The Loma Fire: One Year Later

The Loma Fire: One Year Later
In October 2016, a fire devastated a large section of Rancho Cañada del Oro Preserve in the hills south of Silicon Valley. Over the next 12 months, EGAD conceptualized, filmed and produced a look back at the event and how its aftereffects—both good and bad—impacted wildlife and the community, while reinforcing Open Space Authority’s commitment to inter-agency partnerships and the care of its land. This eight-minute video is all the more satisfactory given its very tight production budget.
