Redevelopment Agency of San Jose
When a fast-growing eBay was thinking loudly of leaving San Jose, the city went into overdrive in an attempt to persuade them otherwise. Originally I was asked to develop a PowerPoint document that would be presented to eBay, but I talked the Redevelopment Agency into building a more graphically durable and interactive presentation through Acrobat. The agency agreed and Mayor Ron Gonzales personally presented to eBay—which reversed course from its original plan to bolt and now owns a prime chunk of Silicon Valley land in San Jose.
I work with the big guys, the up-and-comers and the merchants down the street.
