In the 1990s, This Great Game was originally idealized as a massive coffee table book on baseball history. Prohibitive publishing costs kept it from print, but the project took on a whole new life in the early 2000s when EGAD joined forces with baseball historian, copywriter and friend Ed Attanasio to turn it into a web site—where it retains its original mission as a sweeping and visually engaging tome of big league baseball. www.thisgreatgame.com
